PARKING SPACES TO BE REMOVED - January 1, 2018

We are permanently removing a total of 79 parking spaces from the following locations:

• Rimway
• Centennial Drive
• Gridiron Way
• Bowles Parking Lot

We are removing the spaces in order to honor an agreement between a neighborhood association and campus.

What are your alternatives

Parking and Transportation office will be closed till 8:30 a.m on Wednesday, Octboer 18, 2017

UC Annual Permit holders will be allowed to park in campus lots on Friday, October 13, 2017, until 5:30pm.

Permit holders must vacate Boalt and Bowles lots no later than 5:45pm. ‘C’ Annual permit holders may park at the Boalt Garage.

Daily Scratch-offs will not be valid on campus after 5:30pm for the Friday night Football game.

Public Parking

$30.00 Public Parking will be offered at the following locations at 5:30PM:

• Genetics Garage (Oxford/Berkeley Way)

Access to Level 1 of Lower Hearst Lot will be closed on Monday, October 2-Sunday, October 8 due to city street construction. Levels 2-4 of Lower Hearst Lot can be accessed through Scenic Drive.

Additionally, we are requesting UC permit holders to park at the alternate parking locations:

• Upper Hearst, Level 4
• Foothill Lot

Participants who are interested in the Secure Bike Cage program can register their bikes through the Parking & Transportation website. P&T Managers will review the application; and for Fall 2017 will update the PIN/Cal1 Card information to cages every Tuesday morning and Friday afternoon.

Parking and Transportation currently does not offer Ford GoBike corporate memberships for Staff and Faculty members beyond departments who have already secured agreements with.

Staff and faculty members interested in participating must contact their department chair or representative and they must contact Dave Sorrell, TDM Manager, in Parking and Transportation for further instructions in participating. 

We will be closed from August 9th through August 11th, 2017! On August 14th we will open at our new location:

• 1995 University Avenue, Suite 110, Berkeley, CA 94704.

*Please note: our phone lines will be down from August 7th-11th, 2017 and we will have very limited access to emails. 

Perimeter Line is off schedule due to construction on Bancroft Way. P-Line passengers can go to Channing Way after 1:00PM and flag down the P-Line Shuttle. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Student Fall Permit Sales:

*Fall semester permits will be sold online beginning August 4th, 2017

Due to resetting of the Bike Cage Software and Hardware at Berkeley Law, Bancroft, and Recreational Sports Facilities, you may experience either your PIN and/or card not being accepted.

Effective, Tuesday, January 17, 2017, All Loop users must be approved through the Disabled Students Program in order to use the Loop service.
