Prepaid Parking for Campuswide Commencement

UC Lots

Prepaid parking is available at the following lots.

Free Commencement shuttles and ADA golf carts are available from Downtown Berkeley and Underhill Garage to California Memorial Stadium.

Non-UC Lots

Rates may differ at these lots, and there may be no Commencement shuttle stop nearby.

Do you have ADA parking?

Dedicated ADA parking will be reserved and presold for $15 at the Stadium Garage for those who are eligible. UDAR/Stadium Ops will be sending out a purchase code for this lot to those who have purchased ADA seats at the Stadium. If you did not purchase ADA seats at the Stadium, we recommend you email ATO@berkeley.edu for a purchase code or buy a parking permit for the Underhill Garage where a shuttle will be available every 15-20 minutes to transport you to the Stadium.

Additionally, please note that:

  • Vehicles will not be permitted to leave the Stadium Garage until about 1 hour after the event ends.
  • To access the Stadium Garage before the ceremony, please enter from the north side of campus via the intersection at Hearst Ave/Gayley Road, and travel southbound on Piedmont Ave. There will be road closures at the intersection, but UCPD officers will allow you through the closures when you show them your printed permit.

Can I park on the streets?

We do not recommend it. Most nearby street parking either requires a residential permit or is in a towaway zone.
