Service operates throughout Richmond, including El Cerrito Del Norte BART, Richmond BART, and the Richmond Field Station. Rides are $2 Each Way.
Via’s intelligent algorithms allow riders to book an on-demand ride to a nearby transit hub, and then directs them to a “virtual bus stop” within a short walking distance. Riders enjoy quick, efficient shared trips that provide more flexibility than traditional transportation options with fixed routes and schedules.
Richmond Moves is funded through the new statewide Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program (CMO). The project is part of the California Climate Investments (CCI), a statewide initiative that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment — particularly in disadvantaged communities. CMO is administered by CALSTART, in partnership with Shared-Use Mobility Center (SUMC) and the Local Government Commission (LGC).
Richmond Field Users can be picked up or dropped off at either Richmond BART, Del Norte BART, and at the Richmond Field Station!
Richmond Field Station (RFS) Line is Permanently Discontinued as of July 2021.
Due to the discontinuation of the RFS Line, passengers are asked to take the following AC Transit alternatives from Richmond or El Cerrito BART Stations:
Service between UC Berkeley and El Cerrito is provided by Line 79 (Weekdays) and Line 52 to 72/M/R (Weekends).
