Permit Rules

Central "C" Campus Permit

Eligibility:

  • Customer with the title code “Professor.”
  • Employees with an Employee Unit Code (EUC) of A1.
  • Employees with the following Title Codes: 3612, 3613, 3615, 3616, 3617 & 3619.
  • Employees with Title Code beginning with 0###.
  • Employees with verifiable 20+ years of service.
  • By exceptional approval (Assistant Vice-Chancellor level): persons whose departments certify they are required to drive their personally owned vehicles on central campus as part of their job duties.

Rules:

  • Valid every day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 am the following day in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • After 10:00 am on weekdays (Monday through Friday), permits are valid in all carpool parking spaces.  Central Campus Annual Permits are valid in Special Events lots.
  • The number of spaces available during special events is subject to event type.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Faculty/Staff "F" Permit

Eligibility:

  • UC employees are eligible.

Rules:

  • Valid every day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 am the following day in 'F' (Faculty/Staff) parking spaces.
  • After 10:00 am on weekdays (Monday through Friday), permits are valid in 'F' (Faculty/Staff) carpool parking spaces.
  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Night/Weekend Permit

Eligibility:

  • UC employees are eligible.

Rules:

  • Valid every day, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 am the following day in 'F' (Faculty/Staff) and 'F' (Faculty/Staff) carpool parking spaces.
  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Hill Permit

Eligibility:

  • UC employees are eligible.

Rules:

  • Valid every day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 am the following day in 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Motorcycle

Eligibility:

  • UC employees or students with motorcycles are eligible. 

Rules:

  • Motorcycles must park in M/C designated areas.  Motorcycle permits are not valid in car spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Central Campus "C" Daily Scratcher Permit

  • Valid every day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 am the following day in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • After 10:00 am on weekdays (Monday through Friday), permits are valid in all carpool parking spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces. 

Faculty/Staff "F" Daily Scratcher Permit

  • Valid every day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 am the following day in 'F' (Faculty/Staff) parking spaces.
  • After 10:00 am on weekdays (Monday through Friday), permits are valid in 'F' (Faculty/Staff) carpool parking spaces.
  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Hill Daily Scratcher Permit

  • Valid every day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 am the following day in 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
  • Not valid in designated reserved (including Nobel Laureate) spaces.
  • Not valid in red zones or unmarked spaces.

Night/Weekend Daily Scratcher Permit

  • Valid every day, from 4:30 pm to 2:00 am the following day in 'F' (Faculty/Staff) and 'F' (Faculty/Staff) carpool parking spaces.
  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in 'C' (Central Campus), 'F' (Faculty/Staff), and 'H' (Hill Area) parking spaces.
