Parking Closure Updates

Upcoming Lot Closures

Campus Improvement projects over the next year will impact parking on and around UC Berkeley.

Starting in April 2025, the South Extension and Witter lots will close permanently, and the Bancroft Lot will close temporarily as new parking is built. 

• South Extention Lot will close April 14, 2025

• Witter Lot will close April 28, 2025 

• Bancroft Structure will close May 27, 2025

• Bancroft/Fulton West Lot will close by Fall 2025

While these lots are going away, there are plenty of other options for parking on and around Berkeley's campus. 

Available lots with monthly rates include: 

• Clark Kerr, Foothill, and Hearst Parking Garages

• City of Berkeley Garages
