FAQs

• How early should I arrive before departure?

We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure. All ferry trips are first-come, first-served and may fill up.

• What should I bring for boarding?

You’ll need your UC Berkeley Clipper BayPass to tag on and off the ferry. Those without BayPass can use a standard Clipper card to board, or purchase a ticket at most ferry terminals. You can also visit Bay Crossings in the Ferry Building to purchase tickets.

• Is there food or drink available onboard?

Yes. All vessels have snack bars with food and beverage offerings.

• Are ferries wheelchair accessible?

Yes. All vessels and terminal facilities are ADA accessible.

• Can I bring my bike or scooter on board?

Yes. All vessels can accommodate bikes and scooters as long as they follow the agency's bikes & scooter guidelines. Bike and scooter stowage is first come, first served. Vessels have limited capacity for stowage.
