Transit App: Comprehensive trip-planning app to get around Bay Area (and beyond), for AC Transit and Bear Transit services, as well as for many Bay Area transit agencies

  • Who's it's best for: Individuals looking for multi-modal options, with the capability to purchase digital tickets online ahead of time

Moovit: Another great trip-planning app which uses Bear Transit, AC Transit, and other transit agencies.

AC Transit: A one-stop app for all things AC Transit with real-time updates about bus capacity and schedules

BART: A one-stop app for all things BART with real-time information on schedules, service changes, and stuff

  • Who’s its best for: For getting around Bay Area in areas not covered by AC Transit
