Campuswide Commencement

The campus will be hosting the Campuswide Commencement at the California Memorial Stadium, 10:00am. The doors will open at 8:00am and you will need to plan ahead if you are driving or taking public transportation to the campus.

Limited public parking will be provided at the following lots 7:00am - 11:00am for $10.00 CREDIT CARD ONLY:

• Bancroft Structure (Bancroft Way below College Ave.)

• Lower Sproul Garage (Bancroft Way below Telegraph)

• Ellsworth Structure (Channing/Ellsworth Street)

• Foothill (Hearst Ave/past 2nd stoplight)

• RSF Garage (Bancroft Way/Ellsworth Street)

• Upper Hearst Structure (Hearst Ave./La Loma)

• Underhill Garage (Channing Way/Between Bowditch and College) - ADA PARKING

Road Closures

There will be road closures from 8:00am – 1:00pm at the following locations:

• Stadium-Rimway (eastbound + westbound) at Gayley

• Piedmont from Bancroft Way to Hearst Ave (northbound + southbound)

Disabled Parking

Disabled spaces and non-reserved spaces will be available for $10.00 CREDIT CARD ONLY to disabled patrons with certified handicapped placards or license plates on a first come first-served basis. The most ideal location for ADA patrons to park is at the Underhill Garage, as there will be a shuttle that can take patrons up to the Stadium from this location.

Commencement Shuttle Service Options

Shuttles are a quick, easy way to commute to commencement. We recommend you consider one of these shuttle options as an alternative to driving.

• ADA Shuttles will provide service from the Underhill Garage to Prospect Court from 7:30am – 10:30am, and back from Prospect Court to the Underhill Garage from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Shuttles will pick up on College Ave in between Channing and Bowditch Streets - to access the stop from Underhill Garage, please use the NORTHEAST elevator.

• Perimeter Shuttles will provide service from downtown Berkeley BART to Memorial Stadium (drop off in front of Haas Business School) from 7:30am – 10:30am, and from Memorial Stadium (pick up on Bancroft Ave and College Ave, in front of Kroeber Fountain) to the downtown Berkeley BART station from 12:00pm -2:00pm.
