Day Shuttle Service will be suspended on Wednesday, November 20th, & Thursday, November 21st due to service reductions caused by a labor shortage.

Night Safety & Door to Door Services will run as usual.

Night Safety Service Protocol for Football game on Saturday, October 5th, 2024

Modified Night Safety Service

For scheduled night football games, Night Safety service will begin at, approximately one hour,
after kickoff, running modified routes, until approximately half-way through the 4 th quarter. At
approximately half-way through the 4 th quarter, service will stop, and resume service, regular
schedule, approximately, one hour, after the end of the game.

Due to staff availability, the following programs and updates are subject to delays, and we apologize for the inconvience.

  • Secure Bike Cages - Staff must physically update the bike cages throughout the Southside of Campus, and updates cannot be done remotely. Please use the BikeLink lockers or the Shared Mobility Program (Lime, Veo, or Lyft) until the updates are completed (there is no timeline at the moment).

Please prepare for delays (of up to 15 minutes) for both AC Transit and Bear Transit services while the City of Berkeley embarks on their Southside Complete Streets Project. This will modify the streets along Bancroft, Dana, and Durant for up to 18 months (Estimated to finish in Mid 2025).

    Due to Construction and Repaving work along Bancroft Way (as part of the City of Berkeley's Southside Complete Streets Project), the Recreational Sports Facility (RSF) will be closed for vehicle access for the night of Thursday, March 14th.

    From 9 pm on March 14th through 5 am on March 15th, RSF Garage will be closed for access - no cars can come in and out of the garage during this time, and all cars must be removed from the garage by 9pm.

    All other routes are assigned new bus stops throughout the duration of the Southside Project (end date Fall 2025).
