(Updated 8:30 PM Monday, September 12)
Student EasyPass Holders:
- Some Clipper Cards were not fully activated or have lost the benefit due to a IT transactional error.
- Please try tagging your card on an AC Transit Bus, to verify if the pass has been loaded.
- Should the benefit not work and your EasyPass card was rejected, please come to the Parking & Transportation office on (this week) Tuesday-Friday from 730-4pm - Please be in line before 3:30pm or else Staff may turn you away for the day.
Clipper BayPass Holders (Note: Those who were selected via email on August 18th or 20th):
- For details about the pilot, click here.
- Some cards still don't have the benefit, due to a technical glitch and the wrong pass being sent to the BayPass Holders.
- Continue to pay for BART or other transit agencies as you have been normally doing.
- We are still not accepting requests or applications to join the BayPass Program.
- If your BayPass benefit has not loaded by 12:01am, Saturday 9/17/2022, please email Berkeley Moves for further guidance.
For All Clipper Card Holders:
- Register all of your cards with http://Clippercard.com or the Clipper Mobile App (Android, Apple) to verify that:
- (1) if your passes (AC Transit Student EasyPass and Clipper BayPasses) are loaded.
- (2) if your pass gets lost or stolen, any funds that are on the cards are recouped.
- Parking & Transportation does not know when the passes are loaded, and cannot tell you a timeline other than our estimates.
