Gameday Shuttles and ADA Golf Carts

Getting to the Stadium

From approximately 2.5 hours before the game begins to an hour after kickoff, free Gameday Shuttles will run continuously between Downtown Berkeley BART, UC parking lots, and drop-offs near the stadium.

At the shuttle drop-offs, it is an approximately 5-10 minute walk to the stadium. For ADA patrons needing mobility assistance, further free ADA Golf Cart service is available from the shuttle drop-offs to stadium gates.

We reccommend visitors take advantage of the Bay Areas robust public transportation and micro-mobility options to get to and from football games!

Alameda-Contra Costa Transit (AC Transit); is the East Bay local bus agency. With over 20 lines servicing Berkeley, AC Transit provides comfortable, efficient, and affordable rides to all.

Leaving the Stadium

After the game ends, free Gameday Shuttles will operate in the reverse direction to shuttle passengers  back to parking lots and downtown Berkeley. Similar to pregame, free ADA Golf Carts are available at stadium gates to transport those with mobility impairments to the Gameday Shuttle pick-ups.

ADA Golf Carts (Postgame)

Free golf carts are available to patrons needing mobility assistance, and can provide transportation to the Gameday Shuttle pick-ups. 

Postgame Service Hours: Beginning of 4th quarter to 1 hour after end of game. No service from when 5 minutes remain in the 4th quarter until 15 minutes after the game.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are the Gameday Shuttles/ADA Golf Carts wheelchair accessible?

With the exception of the ADA Shuttle, Gameday Shuttles are not guaranteed to be wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair-accessible ADA Golf Cart service is available, but may result in a longer wait since not all of our golf carts are equipped with a wheelchair ramp.

Why don't the ADA Golf Carts go to the parking lots anymore?

Golf carts are not road legal outside of the closed roads on game days, and traffic congestion is usually severe before and after the game. We implemented this change in 2019 as it is safer and more efficient for patrons to transfer to/from a Gameday Shuttle for continuing transportation to/from parking lots and downtown Berkeley.
