Due to Construction and Repaving work along Bancroft Way (as part of the City of Berkeley's Southside Complete Streets Project), the Recreational Sports Facility (RSF) will be closed for vehicle access for the night of Thursday, March 14th.

From 9 pm on March 14th through 5 am on March 15th, RSF Garage will be closed for access - no cars can come in and out of the garage during this time, and all cars must be removed from the garage by 9pm.

All other routes are assigned new bus stops throughout the duration of the Southside Project (end date Fall 2025).

  • Get a card or add value to a card on the Clipper website or app and through Apple and Google digital wallets.
  • Check balances on the Clipper website or mobile app.
  • Get account information or add value from the phone system.
  • Get a card or add value to their cards at a retailer.

Starting September 11, 2023, BART will roll out a reimagined service plan that is responsive to post-pandemic commute patterns and ridership growth opportunities.

  • Clipper Cards were available to use as a digital card in the Summer of 2021 to eliminate touchpoints, reduce COVID-19 Transmission, and create a better transit experience.

    • Students were given the option to transfer from a physical card to a digital card if they wished to do so.
    • If a user transfers their physical card to their digital one (Android or iPhone), the physical card is automatically turned off. 

Students who are planning to take City Planning (CYPLAN) 098 DeCal Course (Introduction to Transportation Demand Management) for Fall 2023:

The first class of the semester will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
