UC Parking and Transportation is working with Uber and Lyft to establish designated pick up and drop off locations on campus. These areas are designed for safety, efficiency, and improved circulation in and out of campus.
The new TNC Zones are listed at:
West Gate/ Eucalyptus Grove
North Gate
Hearst Mining Circle (Stanley Hall)
Haas School of Business
Berkeley Law & Kroeber Halls
Sproul Plaza (east of Telegraph)
RecSports Facility
Please note these signs on campus, along with white-painted zones.
With these zones, please note the following:
- Drivers may only wait in these zones for a maximum of three minutes.
- Please inform your drivers that they may only pick up and drop off passengers in these zones.
- Drivers are subject to citations for remaining in the white zones beyond the three-minute limit.
These zones are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For safety and security reasons, please use our Night Safety Services for immediate and direct service to each of these zones.
