Are You On The Bus?
 |
|
The Class Pass makes it possible for registered students to ride free of charge on AC Transit (including the Transbay lines to San Francisco and U-Line from Fremont BART to Stanford) and BearTransit campus shuttle buses* all semester long.
This incredible $1,200 per year value was paid for by a $58.50 portion of your registration fees each semester.

Class Pass Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
Q.What if I lose my Cal Photo ID with the Class Pass sticker on it? What if my Cal Photo ID card and Class Pass sticker are stolen or damaged?
A. If your Cal Photo ID is lost or stolen, first go to the Cal Photo ID Office to obtain a new Cal Photo ID. Once you have your new Cal ID card bring it to Parking & Transportation Department at 2150 Kittredge St. to request a new Class Pass sticker. The Cal One ID Card Office cannot replace the Class Pass sticker. Please note there is a $60 replacement fee for a lost Class Pass sticker through the first half of the semester and $30 thereafter. This fee may be waived for stolen Cal Photo IDs when you submit your request along with a police report documenting the theft. Please note that only one replacement sticker will be issued per student per semester.
Q. What if my Class Pass sticker is damaged?
A. If your Class Pass sticker is damaged due to wear (e.g., it went through the laundry by accident!), but it is still readily identifiable as a current sticker (e.g., date or serial number still intact), you may be able to obtain a new sticker at no cost. Bring the damaged pass to P&T at 2150 Kittredge St.
Q. What if I registered, but the Office of the Registrar database still shows me as not registered? May I show my Confirmed Class Schedule to get my Class Pass sticker?
A. No. AC Transit policy requires that students MUST be confirmed as registered by the Office of the Registrar before they may receive Class Pass. The Class Pass distribution system is linked to the Registrar’s BEAR FACTS system to confirm student registration status. Therefore, no Class Pass sticker can be issued until the Registrar confirms your registration via BEAR FACTS. Please note it may take the Registrar up to 24 hours to update your information in BEAR FACTS.
Q. Who can I contact if I have suggestions, comments or other questions about the Class Pass program?
A. Send your suggestions, comments or questions about the Class Pass program to calpass@berkeley.edu
