This is an Access Interruption notice for Move-In Week 2026 (Monday, August 17 to Wednesday, August 19 & Sunday, August 23, 2026).
This is a reminder that the 2026 Move-In for new and continuing UC Berkeley students will start on Monday, August 17th. The four day event will take place on: Monday (August 17), Tuesday (August 18), Wednesday (August 19), and Sunday (August 23).
If your daily commute involves streets on the Southside or Downtown (near Oxford and University), please add time to your travel schedule to account for increased traffic, street closures, and/or redirections. Please take note of the following access interruptions:

AC Transit Delays and Detours:
Due to increased vehicle traffic on the South Side the following bus lines (22, 27, 36, 51B, 604 & 605) will experience heavy delays or be redirected between the hours of 7:30AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Wednesday. During Move In days you will be able to find more specific details of the impact bus lines at AC Transit Service Alerts
