Bike To Work/School Day 2008
Take the healthy commute to UC Berkeley on Thursday, May 15, and join thousands of Bay Area commuters as they bike to work or to transit. When you register for Bike to Work Day at 511.org you will be eligible to win great bike-related prizes.
UC Berkeley will sponsor an Energizer Station at the entrance of Sproul Plaza from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
There will be several other nearby energizer stations in Berkeley.

Bike to Work Day is an annual celebration of bicycling as an alternative to driving. Fun local events are being planned for the days and weeks leading up to Bike to Work Day and Energizer Stations will offer refreshments and encouragement to bicyclists on the morning of Bike to Work day.
If you can’t bike all the way to work, bike to transit. Most Bay Area transit carriers have bike facilities, such as lockers or bike racks. For additional details about Bike to Work Day go to 511.org or call 511.
