As the Business Services supervisor, Denise Clogston oversees payroll, accounting, and other sectors within the business unit. She has been with the UC system for about six and a half years, of which the past year and a half has been spent with the Parking and Transportation Department. Prior to working here she was an accounting specialist and an administrative assistant at the National Ignition Facility in the Lawrence Livermore Laboratories.
Denise received a SPOT award in August of 2008 after only four months with the department. She received the award for her extraordinary display of initiative and stewardship. Throughout her time here, Denise has continued to demonstrate her ability for problem solving. By looking forward and seeing problems in advance, she is able to pre-emptively take steps to correct those problems and prevent the complications that would otherwise be associated with them.
