Permit Renewals
Introduction
This page gives general information on when and how to keep a current parking permit, whether by allowing automatic renewal during the renewal period (participating faculty and staff) or by purchasing through the e-Parking online service each semester (students and other staff).
Parking permits are valid for specific periods based upon the customer group. Customers may purchase a permit at the P&T office at any time from the start of its renewal period until the day that type of permit is designated to expire. A permit purchased mid-period will have its cost pro-rated based on the date of purchase.
The Parking & Transportation department announces renewal periods and purchase options prior to the end of each period via email, web and print. All parking customers are responsible for renewing and displaying a valid permit at the start of the new permit period.

Faculty/Staff Renewals
Faculty and staff annual parking permits are valid on July 1 of each year, and expire on June 30 of the following year. Faculty and staff members are responsible for renewing their permit and displaying a new valid permit annually by July 1st. Permits for the subsequent fiscal year may be purchased by credit card during the renewal period, which typically starts in May.
Faculty and staff who already hold permits paid via payroll deduction are eligible for Automatic Renewal. In that case, the renewal period will be the time to "opt out" of the permit type if you wish to cancel it or exchange it for another type.

Student Permit Purchases
Student permits are not renewed automatically. They are sold by semester and are valid for the semester in which purchased. Students are responsible for purchasing and displaying the valid permit at the start of each semester.
Permits bought mid-semester shall be pro-rated based on the date of purchase.
