New Trial Parking Program at Lawrence Hall of Science

We are excited to announce the creation of a new trial parking program that allows current C and F permit holders to park at the Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS) terraces free of charge from  April 1st to December 31, 2012.

Changes To Bear Transit Routes

Due to operational needs, on Monday, August 8, 2011, there will be service changes implemented to the Bear Transit Routes.  Please see our Changes to Bear Transit Routes article in our news section for more information.

Announcing BearWALK 2.0

Starting at 7:30pm, click on the new BearWALK 2.0 web link and see a live map of our night safety buses and see where they are relative to your location.  The new BearWALK 2.0 is a Night Safety Service provided to the UC Berkeley Community by the University of California Police Department (UCPD) and the Department of Parking & Transportation (P&T).

Zimride

UC Berkeley Parking and Transportation has launched our own Zimride rideshare community. Berkeley Zimride will be a simple way to find friends, classmates and co-workers who are going the same way you are. Membership is free and easy and all Berkeley students, staff, and faculty will be eligible to sign-up for our private Zimride Rideshare Community.  Visit our Zimride page for more information.
