UC Berkeley Campus Shuttles carry over 1 million riders annually, and an average of over 3,700 students per day. On a daily basis, over 50,000 students, employees and visitors frequent the UC Berkeley campus and downtown Berkeley. We have these areas covered with 6 shuttle routes.

Exterior advertising space is available on all UC Berkeley transit vehicles. Interior advertisement is not available on Central and Richmond Field Station lines.

Bus Routes

On Campus Shuttles

Perimeter 1 & 2 (buses):

• Circles the campus and through downtown Berkeley
• The two buses go down Bancroft. Our most popular route!
• 6:48 am – 7:22 pm (Monday - Friday)

Hill (1 bus):

• Travels to/from the Lawrence Hall of Science, Botanical Garden, Strawberry Canyon Recreation Area, Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, and Space Sciences Lab
• 7:35 am - 7:26 pm (Monday - Friday)

Off Campus Shuttles

Richmond Field Station (1 bus):

• Travels from campus to Richmond via 580 West, with stops at University Village, El Cerrito Plaza and Del Norte BART stations
• 6:45 am - 6:10 pm (Monday - Friday)

Bonus Time!

Night Safety Shuttle:

• Many buses operate during the evening hours Monday – Sunday during the academic year
• Please refer to the P&T Web site for specific hours of operation
