UC Police, the Parking & Transportation dept, and the Library are working together to keep you safe and get you to campus and home with our extended safety services during finals week.

Increased Campus Parking Options

Daytime Parking (7am - 5pm)

From Friday May 14 through Saturday May 22, students may park during the day in the Ellsworth Structure and Foothill Lot by displaying a $6 daily permit from dispensing machines in lots*, or a UC Berkeley student permit.

Evening parking (5pm - 7am)

From Friday May 14 through Saturday May 22, students may park in any unrestricted campus parking lot by purchasing a $7 permit from a dispensing machine.

After 7:00am on weekdays, vehicles remaining in campus lots without a valid UC Berkeley hang tag will be cited.

* Press the yellow "Permit Holder" button on the dispensing machines to receive this reduced-rate ticket.

Extended BearWALK Service Hours

BearWALK safety escort service will run Thursday May 13 through Wednesday May 19 from 7:30pm to 6am, to accommodate 24-hour library service during finals.

Call 64B-SAFE (643-7233) to request an escort.

To-Your-Door Shuttle

Take a free shuttle to your door.

Moffitt To-Your-Door Shuttle service will get you home from your late-night studies at the library.

To accommodate 24-hour library service during finals, To-Your-Door shuttles will run from 2:30am to 6am, starting Wednesday May 12 through Friday May 20. Service will also run continuously from 6:30pm on Saturday May 15 to 6am on Sunday May 16.

Shuttles will stop at the north side entrance to Moffitt Library (on University Drive) at 30 minute intervals.
